I want to express my frustration with the languages I speak and exist in. This polyptych is one of my first attempts to materialize this feeling. In my work, I want to convey my limitations and capabilities in three languages. I am interested in showing the progression of a certain deterioration of my thoughts and self-expression. How much or how little of me is conveyed depending on the language. I gave myself 30 seconds to describe myself in three languages, starting with the one I am most proficient in - English, then Russian, and Kazakh. This polyptych was created using audio tracks of each recording: the frequency, rhythm, and pauses between sounds.
